About Midwest Sessions

Midwest Sessions is an interview and live-performance podcast built around one idea: the Midwest is full of remarkable artists, and most of them never get a room, a good microphone, and an unhurried conversation all at the same time.

Each episode pairs a sit-down interview with a live jam session, recorded in a single sitting. You hear the story first — where the songs came from, what the road has been like, what they're working on next — and then you hear the music with that story still in your ears.

Midwest Sessions is produced by Midwest Sessions LLC, based in Iowa.
